Conservation reserves protect and enhance the site’s significant terrestrial, riparian and aquatic habitats and associated functionality and connectivity. These reserves are predominantly covered in remnant vegetation and include rare and/or threatened or locally significant species that contribute to the Sunshine Coast’s valued natural environment.
The conservation reserves natural and cultural assets are highly sensitive to external impacts. Public access is limited and managed through a permit process. |
